Frequently Asked Questions

What seat are you running for and what does a Delegate do in Maryland?

I am running for the Maryland House of Delegates. Delegates serve in the legislative branch of state government and are responsible for introducing, debating, and voting on laws that impact education, healthcare, public safety, economic policy, and state spending. The House of Delegates works alongside the Maryland Senate and the Governor to pass the state budget, shape policy, and provide oversight of state agencies.

When is the election?

The Gubernatorial Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. In the primary election, voters select their party’s nominee for state and local offices. The winners of the primary move on to the General Election.

Official Maryland election schedule and info can be found here: Maryland State Board of Elections.

How can I register to vote in Maryland?

You can register online, by mail, or in person. The deadline to register for the Primary is generally 21 days before Election Day (around June 2, 2026) — but you can also register during Early Voting or on Election Day with proof of residency.
